Greene County Farm Bureau, Durbin Auto, New Coop, Breadeaux Pizza, and the Twiins Shoppe sponsored the Kids’ Pedal Pull at the Greene County Fair on Saturday, July 11. Twenty-eight youngsters ages 4 – 12 participated in their respective age groups.
In spite of temperatures climbing into the 90s, participants lined up and were eager to compete. Kids and spectators of all ages seemed to have fun. Parents, grandparents, and friends cheered and encouraged as the kids as each took their turn.
Smiles on the kids’ faces could be seen after giving it their best and receiving a gift certificate to the Twiins Shoppe for a complimentary small ice cream cone and division winners also receiving a gift certificate to Breadeaux Pizza for a small personal pizza.
Winners in each age division were: 4 year olds – Finn Palmer; 5 year olds – Bristol Haman; 6 year olds – Abby Brase; 7 year olds – Becca Anderson; 8 year olds – Andrew Holmes; 9 year olds – Brock Haman; 10 year olds – Bailey Anderson; 11 year olds – Megan Palmer; 12 year olds – Blake Haman.
Greene County Farm Bureau thanked all the children who entered, sponsors, spectators, and board members Barry and Brenda Anderson, Jim Giese, Pete Bardole, Tom Safley, Brent Schroeder and Brian Galloway.
