The Paton-Churdan board of education at its July 9 meeting voted to use the portable classroom formerly rented by Tracy’s Tots Daycare for a school-operated early learning center. The board plans that the Paton-Churdan Early Learning Center will be a literacy/STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts Math) based childcare center for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years.
