LifeServe Blood Center will hold a pair of community blood drives in Greene County next week.
Blood drives are slated for Tuesday, July 14, from 12:30 to 5:30 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church in Jefferson; and Wednesday, July 15, from 3 to 7 pm at the Methodist Church in Scranton.
According to LifeServe Blood Center, someone needs blood every two seconds, whether they’re a cancer patient, trauma victim, premature baby, surgery patient, or have other medical needs.
For a limited time, blood donors can earn a commemorative Incredible Blood Donor t-shirt for only 200 points as part of the Superhero Summer Series. Points can be redeemed at the LifeServe Online Store to during this special promotion.
