The Greene County Fair is just around the corner – July 7-13.
Superintendents in the open class invite area residents to consider exhibiting a project. The open class division offers opportunities to everyone living in Greene County.
Exhibits in arts and crafts, welding, photography, agriculture fruits and vegetables, floriculture, junior citizens (youngsters under 16), family history/genealogy, textiles and fabrics, canned goods and oven products, and People’s Choice quilt blocks are welcome.
Entries will be accepted Thursday, July 9, between 10 am and 7 pm. The Greene County Fair book, with complete listings and information about the open class, is available at the Greene County Extension office at 104 W. Washington St in Jefferson. It can be downloaded from the Extension website here.
