Jefferson enjoyed a drier week than in recent weeks, including mostly dry weather for Bell Tower Big Top last weekend. A bit of rain fell Friday night, but clouds cleared Saturday after the parade and the rest of the day was a nice Iowa summer day.
Volunteer weather observer John Beltz reported a high temperature of 84 degrees and a low temperature of 55 degrees during the week that ended Friday, June 19, at 6 am.
Rainfall for the week totaled .48 inch.
