When it comes to construction, high quality tools deliver efficiency and precision. The same is true with tools in the modern office, and the recent delivery of a Sharp brand high-speed color copier/network printer/scanner ensures Heart of Iowa Habitat for Humanity will continue to have efficiency and precision in their critical communications. The equipment will be used in the Boone Habitat office. Equipment donated by Access Systems in 2010 will be moved to the Jefferson office, which opened in April.
According to Erich Kretzinger (pictured, left), executive director at Heart of Iowa Habitat for Humanity, the donations have had a “tremendous impact” on Habitat’s ability to grow in serving families. “Between these two donations, we have absolutely been blessed and this allows us to keep our dollars at work building decent, affordable housing.”
Also pictured is Bill Garnes of Access Systems. Access Systems is headquartered in Waukee, and has an office in Jefferson. Access Systems sells and supports equipment from Sharp, Ricoh, Hewlett-Packard, and other companies. Shane Sloan is president and operating manager.
“We absolutely support Habitat for Humanity as the most effective way to provide safe and affordable housing opportunities in Iowa,” said Sloan. “Helping families to help themselves is something we can all get behind, and Access Systems gladly joins the many others who support these worthwhile efforts”.
