The days of the courthouse square being packed with vendors for the Bell Tower Festival have returned. Angie Pedersen, Bell Tower Festival coordinator, reports that carnival rides by Amusement Associates will take up the east side of the square, and vendors will fill the other three sides.
The 65 vendors who plan to be at the Bell Tower Big Top will bring with them a wide variety of wares, from Norwex for those who like to clean efficiently, to Mary Kay Cosmetics, for those who like to look beautiful while they do it. There will be art, jewelry, home improvement ideas, trinkets, and, of course… food. Along with traveling vendors, the Greene County Cattlemen and the Jefferson Kiwanis Club will have their grills fired up. Hotel Pattee, a new member of the Greene County Chamber, is bringing its food wagon with two signature items, crab rangoon burgers and Badboy bacon dogs.
Vendors have been asked to be open for business Friday from 4 to 8 pm and Saturday from 9 am to 8 pm.
