The Jefferson Garden Club’s Yard of the Month for June is the yard of Ruth and Dennis Goshon at 309 Rushview Drive.
The Goshon’s well-kept front yard features a wide variety of plants such as coneflowers, daisies, bleeding hearts and hostas.
The back yard is full of color with blooming flowers. Especially lovely are orange Oriental poppies and perennial geraniums. Also in the back is a memory garden Ruth planted in honor of her parents and brother.
Ruth said she finds taking care of her yard comforting and stress relieving.
