Persons of all ages are invited to tame LEGO® bricks this Friday, June 5, from 6 to 8 pm at Greene Bean Coffee. The free LEGO Build Night is a preamble to the LEGO Tamer Challenge, hosted by Greene Bean Coffee and co-sponsored by GreeneCountyNewsOnline as part of the Bell Tower Festival.
At the Build Night, GBC owners Rich and Reagan Osborne will share their huge collection of LEGO bricks for contest entries. The bricks will be returned to the Osbornes after the competition.
Those who have their own LEGO bricks are welcome to bring them along that night or to build their LEGO Tamer entries at home. All entries must be at Greene Bean Coffee by Thursday, June 11, at 4 pm. Entries will be placed into categories by the age of the creator, with a team category for family efforts. They will be judged based on creativity, use of the Bell Tower Big Top theme, and innovative use of LEGO bricks.
