It’s time to ‘step right up’ for Bell Tower Festival discount tickets

BTF two clowns 2The Bell Tower Festival is only 10 days away. The Greene County Chamber, which hosts the annual event, is reminding everyone to “Step right up” to the Greatest Show in Greene County…. Bell Tower Big Top.

Under the guidance of Festival coordinator Angie Pedersen and Chamber events committee chair Toni Linberg Wetrich, Bell Tower Big Top will offer two days of fun for all ages. Pedersen (left) and Chamber administrative assistant Sheilah Pound (right) are ready to sell Festival T-shirts and advance tickets for several events.

A complete schedule for Bell Tower Big Top is available at www.belltowerfestival.org.

By popular demand, a carnival will fill the east side of the courthouse square. Amusement Associates is bringing as many as a dozen mechanical rides and inflatables.

Discount carnival tickets are available at the Chamber office at Jefferson city hall through Thursday, June 11. The tickets are sold in sheets of 20 for $15. Rides will require one to five tickets, but an entire sheet of advance tickets can be traded during the Festival for a wristband that gets the wearer unlimited rides that day. And, any unused tickets can be used at Ogden Fun Days or Boone Pufferbilly Days later this summer.

Discount tickets for the Festival barbecue Friday evening, June 12,  are available at the Chamber office through Thursday. The Cattlemen will grill hamburgers and ribeye steaks. Advance tickets for the burger meal are $6 each, with the steak meal priced at $12. Tickets at the door will be $8 and $15 respectively.

Tickets are also available at the Chamber office for the Saturday night performances of the arena-style show band PopROCKS. PopROCKS has performed its high energy, high impact show at the Iowa State Fair and many other venues. The Festival committee has added a Family Garden adjacent to the traditional beer tent so that people of all ages can enjoy PopROCKS’ performance. Tickets are priced at $10 each, much less than their performances in larger cities.
