The weather was only in the mid-40s but the 2,500 or so runners who descended on Jefferson Saturday morning for the start of the Market to Market Relay/Iowa called it a perfect day to run.

County Democrats to meet
The Greene County Democratic party central committee will meet Tuesday, May 12, at 7 pm at Prairie Blue on the west side of the courthouse square in Jefferson. Representatives from each of the precincts are part of the committee. Anyone who is interested is welcome to attend.
