Members of the Greene County Medical Center auxiliary aren’t offering to help with your spring cleaning, but they’re offering an answer for everyone wondering what to do with the things they sorted out as no longer needed but too good to throw out — donate them to the auxiliary’s annual garage sale.
The auxiliary garage sale, one of the bigger fundraising sales every year, is slated for next Friday and Saturday. This Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, May 5-7, auxiliary members will be setting up the sale at Clover Hall at the Greene County Fairgrounds. They will happily accept donated new or used items and good, clean wearable clothing during that time.
Garage sale organizers have a crew who will pick up large items. Call 515-738-5495 or 641-427-5796 to arrange a pick-up time.
The auxiliary regrets that it can not accept televisions, appliances or computer items for the sale.
The sale will begin with a Sneak Peak sale Thursday from 5 to 7 pm. A $3 admission will get eager buyers the first chance. The sale will be open without admission Friday from 9 am to 7 pm and Saturday from 9 to 11 am.
All proceeds help the auxiliary support Greene County Medical Center with equipment purchases.
