Home State Bank customers are reminded of the customer appreciation Shred Day Saturday, May 9, from 9 to 11 am in the south parking lot at the bank. The event will be held rain or shine, but will be postponed if there is lightning.
All customers who participate will be entered to win a personal shred machine.
The shredder will accept copy paper, letterhead, computer paper, fax paper, white or colored paper, shiny or coated paper, magazines, brochures, carbonless forms, sticky notes, white window envelopes, business cards, manila folders, staples and paperclips.
The shredder will not accept tissue paper or paper towels, brown paper or envelopes (trace amounts, OK), hanging file folders, carbon paper (trace amounts, OK), newspaper (trace amounts, OK), cardboard, plastic, metals, food or glass.
Customers are asked to observe a limit of one 30-gallon garbage bag of material to be shredded.
