Greene County school superintendent Tim Christensen has provided the following notice in compliance with the district’s participation in the USDA’s free summer lunch program.
“The Greene County Community School District is participating again this summer in the Summer Food Service Program.
“Meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.
“Meals will be provided at sites and times as follows: Elementary school, 401 E. Russell St, Jefferson, 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, Monday-Friday, June 8 – July 31; and Intermediate school, 405 12th St, Grand Junction, 11 am to 12:30 pm, Monday-Friday, June 8-July 31.”
