Relay sponsorships near $19,000

RFL - Greene County_CS5The steering committee of the Relay for Life of Greene County relies on sponsorships by businesses and organizations to cover the actual cost of the event so that all money raised by teams and Relay activities can help the American Cancer Society in its important work.

According to Relay chair Peg Raney, cash sponsorships now total nearly $13,000, with another $6,000 in in-kind sponsorships.

Sponsors at the platinum ($1,250+), gold ($1,000), silver ($500) and bronze ($250) levels have already been announced.

Hour of Hope sponsors have donated $100 and will be recognized as follows:

9:30 to 10:30 amA & W Family Restaurant, Caleris Inc, Chapter MY – PEO, Chuck and Dina Hastings, Edward Jones – Dean Dozier, and Fancy Bar M LLC.

10:30 to 11:30 am – Farmers Cooperative – Churdan, The Hairem, Hamilton Redi-Mix, Hastings Funeral Home, Henkel & Associates PC, and Jefferson Eye Care PC.

11:30 am to 12:30 pm – Juhl Feed Store, Kingsgate Insurance, MHF Engineering, Michael and Marg Mumma, Minnehan Ag, and Morning Star Lodge 159/Masonic.

12:30 to 1:30 pm – New Way/Scranton Manufacturing, Oly’s Corner, Peony Chinese Restaurant/Excuses, Regency Park Nursing & Rehab Center, Rhythm Room, and Peony Chinese/Excuses Pizza.

1:30 to 2:30 pm – Rueter’s Red Power, Tri-County Lumber, VJ Jefferson – The Gardens, and Wilcox Law Firm.

 

Krieger’s Flower Shop and Fudge’s Flowers are donated table decorations which will be available at 2 pm for local survivors. Many businesses have donated to the silent auction as well.

 

“These sponsorships are a very important part of the Relay for Life. Their willing participation is part of what makes working on the Relay for Life so rewarding,” Raney said.
