Employees at four Greene County banks are in a heated battle to win a pizza in a challenge to raise funds for the Relay for Life of Greene County.
Banks were invited to decorate collection boxes into which their customers could drop donations to the Relay. Employees of the bank that nets the most will win a pizza.
Home State Bank in Jefferson, Community State Bank in Paton, and Peoples Trust & Savings Bank offices in Jefferson and Grand Junction are in the challenge. “Whether you’re voting for the most creative collection box or to get pizza for your favorite bank staff, vote! It’s all for a good cause,” a Relay for Life committee spokesperson said.
The Relay for Life of Greene County is slated for Saturday, April 25, from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm at the Greene County Community Center in Jefferson.
