The Greene County Chamber announced earlier this week changes in its executive board for 2015.
Executive board members are (from left) vice president John Brunow of All Ability Cycles, president Omega Sang of Wells Fargo Bank, treasurer Nikki Uebel of Peoples Trust & Savings Bank, and secretary Tori Riley of GreeneCountyNewsOnline.
According to Sang, these board members bring to the table varying experiences, knowledge, and talents.
“We want to thank Ben Yoder for his many years of selfless service to the Chamber and the community as a whole,” Sang said. “We’re excited to move forward into 2015 with a renewed focus to help our county’s businesses be successful and increase our county’s reach and capacity as a tourism destination.”
Past president Ben Yoder said, “It has been my pleasure to serve the community on the Chamber board. These new leaders are going to take the Chamber to greater heights of achievement as they’re passionate about making Greene County a wonderful place to live and visit.”
The Chamber board anticipates hiring a new executive director in the next several months, and possibly a tourism and events coordinator. The board is excited to continue the work of fulfilling the Chamber’s mission to foster thriving relationships between individuals, businesses and organizations by serving as a leader, advocate and resource for Greene County businesses.
The full board also includes Toni Linberg of Regency Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Nick Foster of Foster Farms, Angie Pedersen of RVP~1875/History Boy Theatre, Rob Schultz of Pizza Ranch, Bret Durbin of Durbin Automotive, and past president Ben Yoder of Home State Bank.
