The logo for the 2015 Relay for Life of Greene County will be unveiled at a short but festive program next Tuesday, March 10, at noon in the courthouse rotunda in Jefferson.
The logo will be the centerpiece of the Relay T-shirts and will be featured on promotional materials.
Teams are invited to come see the logo and share a bit of Relay camaraderie. All businesses and organizations that have committed to sponsor the 2015 Relay are encouraged to have a representative at the logo event, as the sponsor photo will be taken.
All those attending the Tuesday event are asked to wear purple to show support for cancer research and survivors during the 15 minute event.
The Relay for Life of Greene County will be during the day Saturday, April 25, at the Greene County Community Center.
“Relay is less than two months away,” said chairperson Peg Raney. “We’ve been planning for many months already and teams have begun fundraising. We’re eager to see what other creative ways teams find to raise money to help the American Cancer Society in its important work.”
