A radio broadcasting group from Greene County High School earned All-State recognition from the Iowa High School Speech Association. Their pre-recorded broadcast will be shared at the All-State Speech Festival this Saturday on the Iowa State University campus.

Four Greene County HS groups advanced from the district contest to the state contest, held Jan. 24 at Valley High School in West Des Moines. Earning “II” ratings were an improvisation group of Victoria Sims, David Petersen and Danielle Johnson; a mime group of Jordan King, Faith Hanson, Sims, Aly Matthews, Brittany Richardson and Cecilia Blasnitz; and a short film created by Jack Schilling, Gabe Jensen and Zach Dane.
