The Greene County Cattlemen will hold their annual banquet Saturday, Feb. 21, at Clover Hall on the Greene County Fairgrounds. A social hour will begin at 6 pm, with a rib-eye steak dinner catered by Lidderdale Country Store served at 6:30.
The trophy auction and drawings for numerous door prizes will begin after the meal.
Money raised at the annual banquet and trophy auction will go toward the many projects supported by the Greene County Cattlemen throughout the year. The Cattlemen continue to support a number of 4-H and youth activities, Heart Smart promotions, and other extensive beef promotions at the county, state and national levels. The Cattlemen are also seen throughout the county grilling at various cookouts.
Tickets for the annual banquet and trophy auction can be purchased at the Greene County Extension office or from any of the following directors: Mike Holden, Steve Kennedy, Doug Lawton, Dave Tipton, Tom Lawton, Pat Fields, Justin Robbins, Mike Ostendorf, Roger Rowles, Mick Towers or Tom Heun. Tickets will also be available at the door.
The public is welcome to attend.
