Feedlot producers are invited to attend a beef roundtable webinar Thursday, Feb. 12, from 1 to 4 pm at the Calhoun County Extension office in Rockwell City. This will be the closest webinar to Greene County, according to local Extension staff.
The webinar is jointly sponsored by Iowa State University Extension and Outreach and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. The focus of this year’s program is on feeding dairy beef. Topics to be covered include feedlot nutrition and technology, animal health considerations and beta-agonists in feedlot diets.
Dr. Stephanie Hansen will also present an update on beef feedlot research being conducted at Iowa State University.
Registration is $10 and payable at the door. To register, call the Calhoun County Extension Office at 712-297-8611no later than Tuesday, Feb. 10.
