Workshop slated for Jan. 13; applications due Feb. 12
Grant applications for the Greene County Community Foundation’s 2015 grant cycle are now available online at by clicking here, or at the ISU Greene County Extension office in Jefferson. They will also be available at the ISU extension office. Completed applications will be due at the ISU Greene County Extension office by 4:30 pm Thursday, Feb. 12.
“We are excited to see what projects people are dreaming of doing this coming year. We really encourage organizations around the county to submit a grant application,” said Linda Hedges, co-chair of the Foundation’s grant-making committee.
Board members of the Foundation will score the applications on Feb. 21 and grants will be awarded and available on March 20.
The Foundation will accept grant applications of up to $35,000. This year, the Foundation anticipates awarding a total of about $120,000.
The Foundation will have a grant writing workshop Tuesday, Jan. 13, at 7 pm at the Greene County Extension office for those who have questions about the application process. Please call Hedges at 515-386-4740 or the ISU extension office at 515-386-2138 for more details.
