“Remembering Your Childhood” is the theme of a program by Janine Birch Thursday, Jan. 23, from 5:30 to 7 pm at the Paton Public Library. J-S board posts new administrative position

The Jefferson-Scranton board of education at its Jan. 15 meeting agreed by consensus to move forward with filling a new administrative position for the next school year. Superintendent Tim Christensen shared a draft of a job posting for an activities director/secondary assistant principal. The positions would combine to be fulltime. “We’ll see what’s available,” Christensen said.
