Members of the Interact Club at Greene County High School helped decorate the Winter Wonderland in the Masons’ building (formerly Figenshaw Furniture) in anticipation of Santa’s Saturday visits. Santa and Mrs Claus were there yesterday morning (Dec. 6), and they’ll be there again next Saturday morning from 10 to 11:30 am. At 11:30 they’ll be escorted by the Jefferson fire department to the Sierra Community Theatre, where they’ll talk with children until the movie “Elf” starts at noon. Talking with the Clauses is free, just like the movie.

Greene County Chamber executive director Chris Henning said she very much appreciated their decorating help, and that she’d make sure her good friends the Clauses knew who was responsible for the lovely Winter Wonderland setting.
