Jefferson Elks Lodge #2306 will hold its annual Elks memorial service Sunday, Dec. 7, at 2 pm at the Elks lodge in Jefferson.
The service is an integral part of the Elks calendar year and is an opportunity to pay special tribute to those members who have passed away, especially those who have passed since the last memorial service. Those departed members being honored are Bill Ecklund, Ed Stoline, Bob Armstrong and Gary Peacock. Families of the departed members will be the Elks’ special guests.
The message will be delivered by the Rev Dan Emmert of the First Presbyterian Church in Grand Junction. Soloist will be Kelly Baldwin of Perry.
The Does will also take part in the service and perform their traditional Elks Rest Ceremony.
The public is invited. Refreshments will be served following the service.
