Staff on the children’s side of the Jefferson public library are planning special activities for the holiday season, beginning with an “Elf on the Shelf” story time this Tuesday, Nov. 25. Children ages 4* to 14 are invited from 4 to 5:30 pm for the “Elf on the Shelf” story, a craft and a snack. There is no charge. The program is a cooperative program sponsored by Jefferson Telecom and the library.
Children are invited to return to the library Wednesday, Dec. 3, for a Magical Snow Globes program from 2 to 4:30 pm. Children will make a unique snow globe, hear a story about a special snow globe, and leave the library with a sweet holiday treat. There is no charge. Beta Tau Delta is hosting the program in keeping with the snow globe theme of this year’s virtual charity ball.
*Children under the age of 4 years must be accompanied by an adult or caregiver.
