Iowa State University Extension and Outreach will host an informational meeting about the new Farm Bill Thursday, Nov. 20, at 6:30 pm at the Leonard Good Community Building in Ogden.
Greene County residents are invited to the free session. Pre-registration is requested by calling the Greene County ISU Extension office at 515-386-2138.
Topics to be covered include finalizing agricultural risk management and price loss coverage related to the new federal Farm Bill. ISU Extension farm management specialist Steve Johnson will be the featured speaker.
Extension is hosting a series of meetings designed to help all area farmers, farmland owners and agriculture professionals with current issues as they relate to enrollment for the new Farm Bill.
The final Farm Bill meeting will be held Dec. 16.
