The Greene County Community Foundation’s annual fall fundraising campaign is in progress. Letters have been mailed to individuals and families who have previously donated as well as others who are known to be strong supporters of Greene County.
The letter names various ways the GCCF has benefited Greene County communities since its inception in January 2005. Bill Monroe, chair of the Foundation’s marketing committee, said “The GCCF has already distinguished itself among other community foundations in Iowa for innovative action and county-wide representation. We are sure there are people in the county who will want to give on an annual basis to GCCF once they see what is being accomplished with those donated dollars. This letter invites all to become involved in contributing to the quality of life we enjoy here in Greene County.”
