In Greene County magistrate court a judgment was entered Oct. 29 against Steven Logan Dzuris of Jefferson on a charge of assault, amended from domestic abuse assault. He was fined $100 with a $35 surcharge and $98 court costs. A charge of disorderly conduct was dismissed.
A judgment was entered against Freedom Hope Ore of Jefferson on a charge of disorderly conduct. The judgment was for a $65 fine with a $227.5 surcharge and $60 court costs.
Cases were initiated in district court as follows: Kathleen Ann Specht of Jefferson, assault; Rafael Partida Jr of Jefferson, interference with official acts, disorderly conduct; Rheise Allen Presnall of Churdan, assault, harassment-third degree, possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct; Maxwell Steven McGlothlen of Ankeny, assault, harassment-third degree and disorderly conduct; and Hossein Kolbehdari of Ankeny, harassment-third degree, possession of drug paraphernalia, theft-fifth degree and disorderly conduct.
Persons paid fines for scheduled traffic violations during the week ending Nov. 7 as follows: Derek Joe Brant and Peter Andrew Siruta III, both of Jefferson, operation without registration, $50.

Judgments were entered against individuals for nonpayment of scheduled fines as follows (original fine listed): Christy Anne Rivera of Jefferson, operation without registration, paid $75 fine and surcharge and $26.25 court costs, judgment entered for remaining $33.75 court costs.
The judgment includes a penalty of one-half the original fine and surcharge.
