City, county and state offices will all be closed Tuesday, Nov. 11, in observance of Veterans Day. The Jefferson city council will hold its regular meeting at 5:30 pm. The agenda is posted under the Calendar/Agenda tab.
The Jefferson public library will be closed, but the Greene County Community Center will be open regular hours, 5 am to 9:30 pm.
Garbage pickup in Jefferson will be on a modified holiday schedule. The Monday route will be picked up as usual, but the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday routes will be picked up one day late.
