Bidding open in medical center auxiliary’s Holiday of Lights

Holiday of Lights GrinchThe trees and wreaths now on display in the main lobby of Greene County Medical Center are part of the auxiliary’s “Holiday of Lights.” When visitors come to the main lobby now through Dec. 3, they will be filled with holiday spirit – even with the Grinch trying to take off with a tree!

This “Christmas in Whoville” tree was decorated by the business office billing team. It will go home with the highest bidder, unless the Grinch starts bidding.

The public is invited to view the wonderful display now through Dec. 3. Trees, wreaths, door and table decorations are all up for silent auction, which will end at 3 pm on December 3.

Medical center departments, local organizations, businesses and individuals have decorated more than 40 Christmas trees, holiday wreaths and other holiday items. Not only is the Holiday of Lights festive, it’s a good fundraiser as well. The silent auction raises money for a great cause. All funds raised by the auxiliary are used for equipment needs of the medical center.

The auxiliary will end its 2014 fundraising efforts on Thursday, Dec. 11, with the annual candy sale. Plates of candies and other holiday goodies will be available for sale in the main and outpatient lobby starting at 7 am until all items are gone.H of L group
