Monday afternoon, Nov. 3, a leaf raking brigade will attack yards belonging to elderly and disabled residents in Jefferson, Grand Junction and Scranton. With rakes, tarps, abundant energy and help from Rotarians and other volunteers, students from Greene County high school and alternative school, along with a few middle school students, will rake 122 yards in three hours.
This is the 18th year for the annual service project. Pictured is the 2013 project.
