Work on extending water service to sites north of Highway 30 at Highway 4 in preparation for Wild Rose Jefferson is nearly complete, city engineer John Milligan told the Jefferson city council last week.
The project was done with minimal disruption to travel on Highway 30, as boring was done under the road to install the water mains. The city council approved the first payment of $93,042 to J & K Contracting for the project.
