Rams place third and seventh at South Central Calhoun X-country meet
The Greene County Ram cross-country team ran in the South Central Calhoun Invitational in Lake City Oct. 7 and placed third among eight girls teams and seventh among 13 boys teams. Rams took home 10 medals total and almost every runner ran faster than their average time.

~Updated Oct. 9 Charges have been filed in Greene County related to a traffic accident in Boone County Sept. 14 in which Aaron Beaman, 20, of Jefferson was killed. A Jefferson police officer assisted the Boone County sheriff’s office and the Iowa State Patrol with the investigation.
