The Greene County Rams won a pair of Heart of Iowa Activities Conference volleyball games, both far from home. Tuesday (Sept. 23) the Rams played in Monroe and topped the Mustangs in five sets. Scores were 29-27, 17-25, 26-24, 27-29 and 15-10.

Greene County girls finish second, boys eighth at R-S cross-county meet
The Greene County girls claimed another second place finish at Roland-Story’s Norsemen Invitational cross-county meet Thursday. The boys finished eighth of the 12 teams at the meet, which was held at the Riverbend Golf Course in Story City.
