The Greene County High School band is preparing to host the Iowa Central Community College marching band during the homecoming football game on Friday, Oct. 3.
The Iowa Central band, under the direction of Jeremy Smith, will perform the Star-Spangled Banner and the GCHS school song with the Greene County HS band during pre-game. The guests will provide school spirit and musical selections in the bleachers during the first half, and then will perform its own half-time show.
The high school band, under the direction of Becky Greiner, will perform second with its marching show.
Greene County graduates Kennedy Sims and Taylor Hardin will perform with the Iowa Central band.
