Artist Joseph Murray shares his most recent painting, “Towards Evening.”
“Summer weather is fading away from all of us and the awakening of a new season is upon us. Fall is a wonderful time of the year to enjoy the beauty and color of nature,” Murray said. “‘Towards Evening’ is a study of the tonal color and light changes that take place around the time of a sunset. Cloud formations can be beautiful at that time of day.”
The painting is 24″ X 30″, painted on Gallery Wrap watercolor canvas with individualized layers of watercolor and acrylic paint.
Murray will unveil the painting at the Rockbrook Village Art Fair Omaha, NE, Sept. 6-7. If it does not sell there, it will be available for purchase at Murray’s Wayuga Studio between Jefferson and Scranton. Contact him at wayuga@netins.net
