Regency Park Nursing and Rehab had its own super heroes Thursday! The Iowa Healthcare Association’s theme for 2014 is “Healthcare Superheroes.” The department managers at Regency Park are gearing up to attend the annual convention in Des Moines at the end of September.
According to Toni Linberg, director of marketing and admissions, the residents and their family members thought it was hilarious to have super heroes there, and the managers and the entire staff had fun with it, too.

The residents also enjoyed their own version of the State Fair earlier this month. Food contests are such an important part of the State Fair that department managers brought desserts for judging by the residents and their families. Housekeeping manager Jan Black got the blue ribbon with her zucchini bars.
