Four persons injured in collision at rural intersection

Four people were injured in a collision that occurred Monday at 5:50 pm at the intersection of 160th St and M Ave in Bristol Township north of Goose Lake.

According to information from the Greene County sheriff’s office, Timothy David Tucker, 43, of rural Churdan was westbound on 160th when he collided with Jessica Amber Montoya, 19, of Jefferson, who was southbound on M Ave. Trey Darwin Tucker, 15, and Tori Nicole Tucker, 17, who were passengers in Tucker’s vehicle, were injured, as was Montoya and Caleb Christopher Byerly, 21, of Churdan, a passenger in Montoya’s vehicle. All four were transported to Greene County Medical Center. Injuries were not thought to be life threatening. Tim Tucker and another Tucker child were not injured and were evaluated at the scene.

All persons involved were wearing seatbelts and airbags deployed.

Damage to Tucker’s 2005 Ford F350 Super Duty pickup truck was estimated at $10,000. Damage to Montoya’s 2004 Cheverolet Silverado pickup truck was also estimated at $10,000.

Fire and rescue units from Jefferson and Churdan, and three units from Greene County Emergency Medical Services responded.
