The hours for the Jefferson municipal pool are changing this week with the start of school.
The last day for the regular summer schedule with open swim from 1 to 8 pm and family hour from 5:30 to 6:30 is this Tuesday, Aug. 19.
Starting Wednesday, Aug. 20, the weekday schedule will be adult lap swim from 11:30 am to 1 pm. Since most of the lifeguards have left for college, there will be no after school swim time.
Next weekend, Aug. 23-24, the pool will be open regular hours, including afternoons.
The pool will close for the season Friday, Aug. 29, at 1 pm.
