The annual Gathering will be held this Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, Aug. 12-14, at the United Methodist Church in Scranton. Each evening begins with a meal at 6:30 pm and features Christian music and Bible-based preaching at 7:30.
Meat will be provided for each meal, but side dishes and desserts will be potluck. A free will offering will be accepted.
Tuesday evening, the Cooper Brothers will provide music with speaker Pastor Johnathon Cooper.
Wednesday, Julie Kay Moss will sing and Pastor Dave Grandon of Gospel Open Bible Church in Jefferson will speak.
The three-night series will end Thursday with the Liberty Bells singing and Pastor Bill Wenig speaking.
