Still time to donate items
The Grand Junction Community Center fundraising committee will hold a supper and auction Friday, Aug. 22, at 5:30 pm on Main Street in Grand Junction. All proceeds will go to the building fund.
Several area residents and businesses have already donated items for the auction. Up for silent auction and live auction will be many antiques, furniture, household items, Iowa and Iowa State memorabilia (including autographed items), and craft items. The supper will feature maidrites, coney dogs, walking tacos, bars and even homemade ice cream, with a free will donation accepted.
