PAWS will host an open house/meet-and-greet Saturday, July 26, from 10 am to 1 pm at the Greene County animal shelter, 605 W. Russell St, in Jefferson.
Area residents are invited to tour the shelter and meet the several dogs and cats that are available for adoption. Adoption fees will be reduced during the meet-and-greet to $50 for dogs and $25 for cats.
Also, volunteers will be eager to share information about volunteer opportunities available at the shelter.
“Please consider adopting a pet. It will save a life,” a PAWS spokesperson said.
