There will be three young women competing for the title of Greene County fair queen Friday at 6:30 pm on the stage in Clover Hall at the Greene County Fairgrounds. The winner will represent Greene County in the Iowa State Fair queen contest next month.
Noelle Gray will be a senior at Greene County High School. She is involved in many activities including track, cross country, student government, choir, National Honor Society and FFA. She has been active in 4-H and has served as club vice president. She is a member of the 4-H Young Leaders and helps organize the Greene County Fair dog shows. She is the daughter of Brett and Melissa Schilling of rural Jefferson.
Hannah Gunn will also be a senior at Greene County High School. She is involved in FFA as an officer, 4-H, Young Leaders, Interact Club, cheerleading and track. In 4-H she participates in the dog and cattle projects. She is working this summer at the Grand Junction swimming pool teaching private swim lessons. She is the daughter of Charles and Robin Gunn of Grand Junction.
Emma Tilley is a 2014 graduate of Paton-Churdan High School. She participated in track, volleyball, basketball, softball, honor band, choir, student council and National Honor Society, and was a student member of the Greene County Community Foundation board. She plans to study athletic training at Iowa State University. She is the daughter of Mark and Melinda Tilley of rural Churdan.
