Registration deadlines are nearing for a pair of programs hosted by the Jefferson park and recreation department.
Tennis clinic: Boys and girls 8 years and older will learn the fundamentals of tennis. The clinic, taught by Alex Hamilton and Kathy Bravard, is free courtesy of donations in memory of Dr. Robert Burke. Dr Burke loved tennis and was instrumental in providing suitable tennis courts in Jefferson. For him, tennis was a lifelong sport.

Mini basketball camp: Mini Basketball Camp will help boys and girls going into second or third grade improve their basketball skills. Camp will meet Monday, July 7, through Friday, July 11, from 11 to 11:45 am at Jefferson elementary. Registration deadline is June 27. For a registration form, click here: Mini basketball
