The Bill Riley Talent Search is a highlight of Saturday activities at the Bell Tower Festival. The entertainment begins at 5 pm on the Plaza Stage on the south side of the courthouse. Sponsor of the Bill Riley Talent Search is Greene County Farm Bureau.
Performers in the Sprout division for ages 2-12 are (in order of performance) Ava Schilling of Jefferson, vocal solo; Brittany Linch of Creston, jazz dance solo; Cael Fisher of Grand Junction, piano solo; Gretah Johnson of Jefferson, tap dance solo; Julia Tubbs of Des Moines, vocal solo; and Adeline Else of Urbandale, contemporary dance solo.
Performers in the Senior division for ages 13-21 are (in order of performance) Bailey Miller of Gowrie, jazz dance solo; Emily Headley of Boone, vocal solo; Isaiah Gibbs of Gowrie, piano solo; Abby Merschman of Adel, classical vocal solo; Cole DeHoet of Jefferson, cartoon voice impersonations; Emy Cuvelier of Collins, song and dance; William McClure of Jefferson, original composition, electric guitar solo; Keaton Schlatter of Coon Rapids, vocal solo; Snowy Chargo of Jefferson, French horn solo; and Dakota Brown of Altoona, guitar and song.
The first place winner in each division will qualify for the Bill Riley Talent Search at the Iowa State Fair in August.
