The Jefferson Elks will continue their tradition of hosting a Hamburger and Brat Feed Saturday after the Bell Tower Festival parade at the lodge at 103 W. Harrison St. Serving will start after the parade and go until 1:30 pm.
The menu incudes grilled hamburgers, brats, quarter-pound hotdogs, potato salad, baked beans, chips and beverages. A special child’s meal of a regular hotdog, chips and a beverage will be available free for children age 4 and younger.
After lunch, the Elks will get out ice cream scoops and serve “Sundaes on Saturday” t o celebrate the lodge’s 50th anniversary. Ice cream sundaes with a variety of toppings will be available from 3:30 to 5:30 pm. There is a charge for the sundaes. “Come see our remodeled ballroom and enjoy the fellowship as we celebrate 50 years of service to the community,” a spokesperson said.
