Brews and bands will again be the highlights at the Bell Tower Festival beverage garden this Friday and Saturday.
The beverage garden will be located in the 200 block of N. Wilson. Gates will open at 7 pm each evening, with a mega beer pong tournament Friday night and a bags tournament Saturday night. Early arrivals will get the suds, as beer tickets will be sold for $1 off the regular price until 9 pm; tickets purchased at the reduced price will be honored after 9 pm.
The music starts shortly after 8 pm each evening. Friday night’s feature band is Burnin’ Sensations of Ames. The band’s eclectic mix of pop, rock and dance music spans five decades with styles ranging frm the Beatles to Neil Diamond to Lady Gaga. The Friday evening beverage garden is sponsored by Wild Rose Entertainment.

Country music is all about home, and in keeping with the Iowa’s Emerald County: There’s no place like home theme, the beverage garden will “go country” Saturday night with Big Time Grain Company of Kansas City. The band plays a mix of country rock and classics by names such as Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Pearl Jam and the Black Crowes.

There will be a Saturday no-cover matinee at the beverage garden featuring Planet Rock of Fort Dodge. The gates will open at noon, with music starting at about 1 pm, hosted by the Bell Tower Festival motorcycle show and poker ride.
