The Ram baseball team finished the opening week of its season with a 1-2 record overall and in the Heart of Iowa Activities Conference after a 4-3 loss to PCM in Prairie City Friday night, but won Monday to improve its record to 2-2. Senior Wes Tipton pitched, striking out three batters and walked three. He allowed no earned runs.
