The city of Jefferson crew will chip brush curbside at no charge May 27-30.
Residents only need to drag brush to the curb and stack it in tidy piles of an arm load each, with the cut ends to the curb. “Presto! Change-o!” The brush will disappear before the end of the week! And that’s good news for all those who balked at doing yard work in the extended cold weather before the citywide spring clean-up last month!
And as a reminder, because of the Memorial Day holiday, garbage pickup in Jefferson will be one day later than usual. The Monday route will be serviced Tuesday, the Tuesday route on Wednesday, the Wednesday route on Thursday, and the Thursday route on Friday.
